The Hangout, Watergate Bay
A stones throw away from our Newquay surf school is The Hangout. All of the food is homemade by Naomi's mum, Louise and it has become a super popular spot for tasty barista coffee, sweet treats and hot food. The banana crumble is simply mind blowing. It is a local's favourite during the spring, summer and autumn months. Being just a few steps from the SW coast path, it's the perfect place to start or finish your walk along the beautiful Cornish cliffs. The views are very special and as you sip drink and eat your food looking over the iconic Watergate Bay, time seems to stop. It really is a place not to be missed!

Lewennick Lodge
The Lewennick Lodge really is a must-visit (if you can get a table). Recently they upped their game on the quality of food and drinks (the belly pork is unreal). It's a clifftop destination with a contemporary restaurant and bar which has long been a favourite with locals and those in the know. The food is super tasty, and it has one of the best views looking right across the Newquay beaches. Perched on the cliff at Pentire Headland, there are lovely walks to Crantock or Fistral so you can walk off your meal with a smile. The vibe here is alway great, even on those rainy summer days where you want to cosy up by a fire.
